Samsung's LG Optimus Vu Officially Announced

Korean phone-maker LG appears to be in overdrive mode nowadays cookin' a lot of menus on its plate. And why is that?

Well, a report confirmed the company just announced its new and upcoming smartphone in the market called LG Optimus Vu.

In addition, a technology and gadgets news blog has this details about the Samsung LG Optimus Vu:

"Consumers seem to be demanding more and more of their smartphones while tech companies are always looking for ways to add more features to their creations. Enter LG Optimus Vu, an upcoming smartphone from LG Electronics.

Rumors has it that LG Optimus Vu will come with a 5-inch IPS Display screen with a 4:3 ratio, meaning more viewing pleasure for consumers looking for a big size screen on their handsets. Specs include HDMI, DLNA, Wi-Fi Direct, T-DMB support.

Additional features for LG Optimus Vu includes Android Gingerbread, a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm APQ8060 system on a chip (SoC), 32GB eMMC internal memory, Near-Field Communication (NFC), 8GB ROM, an 8-megapixel rear camera with AF LED flash, plus 1.3MP front shooter.

The price and availability of LG Optimus Vu is still unknown at this time, but there's a buzz that it might come as early as Winter in 2012.

Now all these rumors and reports has now been finally made into fruition. And as expected, LG is already making noise even before the Mobile World Congress 2012.
