Google Serves Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich with Galaxy Nexus

Google finally unleashed the next version of their Android mobile OS; Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The new Android was release via the new Galaxy Nexus phone developed by Google and Samsung. Galaxy Nexus is the next iteration of the Google Phone.

The new Android 4.0 have been redesigned and it's the unification of both the smartphone version and tablet (honeycomb) version of Android, so we may start seeing tablets running Android 4.0 by the end of this year.

Here are the key features of the new Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich:

New UI
Virtually all buttons are software driven, which means that Phones and tablet manufacturer don't need to bother placing any physical buttons on the frontface of their device.

Improved Multi-Tasking
With the introduction of Recent Apps and System Bar, user can switch and jump from one app to another.

Cloud Integration
We all know that Google also have their own cloud initiative and the phone will always be connected to the Google Cloud, allowing you to sync browser favorites/bookmarks and sync photos, apps, games, email, and contacts across all of their Android 4.0 devices.

Android Browse a desktop class browser
Android 4.0 will have the ability to instantly and manage sync Google Chrome bookmarks from all of your accounts. The new browser will also give you the ability to view the desktop version of web sites and save an offline copy on your phone.

Social Integration
The phone will have apps for Twitter, Facebook and a deep integration with Google+.

Android Beam for NFC-based sharing
Android Beam is an innovative, convenient feature for sharing contents across two NFC-enabled devices, like favorite apps, contacts, music, videos

Face Unlock
It is a facial recognition technology to unlock your phone with nothing more than a smile. So you can say that your face will your key.

Other features are; Voice command, Notification, Resizable widgets, enhanced email, enterprise support, Wi-Fi Direct and Bluetooth HDP.
