(TCM, 7pm), which is one of my all-time favorite movies and The Women (TCM, 9pm) which is one of Lisa Schmeiser’s favorite movies. Some of you may know Lisa as “Sobell” over on Television Without Pity, she also writes for TeeVee and has a nifty blog of her own. I’ve somehow not seen The Women before, so I look forward to checking it out tonight. You can read more about His Girl Friday and about The Women on the TCM website. Lots more about Russell there too.

This year, Mr. T decided that he wanted a vegetable garden. Maybe it’s all the press about urban homesteading?

  7. Let's hear it for good news!

work together to make sure the homophobes don't continue to reign. The ruling (PDF) was handed down only hours ago, but already a few of the blogs I follow have commented: Of course, Dan Savage opines over at Slog, with a follow-up from Annie Wagner. Lisa imagines Gavin Newsom's hilarious reaction, complete with popular Internet acronyms. Jessica at Feministing chimes in with a quick hit.

of surprises. It can only prepare us to be surprised yet again. – Kurt Vonnegut Man, I am just an idea-stealer here lately, but I came across this post at MightyGirl, by way of Les Cadeaux (which I reached for the first time yesterday by way of The Rage Diaries), and knew I had to do it. The idea is, if your life were to flash before your eyes, what 100 moments would you want to see? In no particular order, here are my memories, 1-25.
