The launched of the triple X domain last year was a welcome news for the adult industry and for those people wanting to align themselves in such businesses catering to the adult crowd.

In fact, the triple X domains was created to make access to adult websites more manageable around the Web. But guess what?

According to recent news, the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) received complaints from some banks and some online merchants against individuals exploiting the XXX domain.

Enter Cybersquatters aka Web Pirates. These people are some adult content providers engaged in the bad practice of buying domains for the sole purpose of exploiting famous business brand names and famous individuals to make a lot of sleazy money. They buy triple X domain names but also keeping a .com domain as well. What they do is register names of popular banks, popular online merchants and popular celebrities under triple X domains, and then contact these businesses and people to sell these domains in exorbitant amounts of money.

Of course, if you're a famous business brand name or a famous individual you'd want your name to be as free as possible from any sleazy and scandalous name connotations associated with it.

It's obvious that some people today want to make a quick buck on the Internet and make lots of money using the Web, but let's be sensitive and mindful of others and do business in a real sensible and more ethical ways, shall we?
